These Terms of Service (the same document the iPhone app labels “Terms of Use”) govern your use of the KyMo iOS app and this website at kymodev.app. Hosted copy: https://kymodev.app/terms. Privacy details live at the Privacy Policy. Contact support@kymodev.app.

Agreement
By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. You must be able to form a contract. If you cannot, do not use KyMo.
The app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the iPhone app for private friend groups. KyMo is not a messenger, not a public social network, and not a web app. We may change features as we maintain the product.
Accounts
You sign in with Email and Password. Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@kymodev.app if you believe the account was used without you.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload illegal content, including illegal images or links.
- Paste other people’s credentials, session URLs, or secret links into Vault.
- Harass, threaten, or target people in a group.
- Probe, scrape, or disrupt the service beyond ordinary app use.
- Impersonate someone else or misrepresent a join code as public.
Members can report content. Hide is device-local. An Admin may remove content from the group or kick a member. We may also remove content or restrict an account when we believe these terms were broken.
Groups and join codes
Groups are private. There is no public discovery. The join code is the invite. Anyone who has it can preview the group name and membership list needed to join. You are responsible for who you share the code with. Treat it like a house key.
Your content
You keep rights in content you submit (receipts, plans, links, photos, hours, ranks, display name, avatar). You grant us a license to host, display, and process that content so the group can use the app. That license lasts as long as the content remains in a group, including after you leave if the group keeps the history described below.
Our intellectual property
The KyMo name, marks, app, and site design are ours. These terms do not give you a right to copy the product, scrape the service, or use our marks except to refer to the app.
Ledger is not banking
Ledger is a group utility for splitting receipts. Math runs on the device. We are not a payment processor, bank, money transmitter, or financial advisor. Settlements happen between people, outside KyMo. Do not treat ledger totals as professional accounting.
Account deletion
In the iPhone app, open Settings and choose Delete account. That removes the Auth user, profile, avatar, memberships, and personal schedule hours. If you are the last member or sole Admin, the group is removed. If the group continues, shared receipts, vault saves, and trip plans stay as group history. We do not promise that every receipt you split is erased from surviving groups.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app and this site are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent allowed by law. Some places do not allow implied warranty limits. Those limits apply only as far as local law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, KyMo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for data left in a group after you delete your account as described above. If a jurisdiction does not allow this limit, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the three months before the claim (which may be zero if the app is free). This is a jurisdiction-light statement until counsel supplies a longer form.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. The current version will be posted at this URL. If you keep using the app after an update, you agree to the new terms.
